Hey y'all! It been a minute since I have updated or posted any forums on the site but I am making a vow to stay on top of it from here on out. Life has been a little hectic so just like everyone else in the world I to am learning to live in this new world. How have you been holding up? I honestly want to know so please don't hold anything back! So many changes has been happening and I am still trying to find new way to adjust. My kids have been home with me since march y'all! That is 5 WHOLE months of no child care!!! I have tried to do the homeschool thing and boy was I happy when "summer break" came! I am not a teacher honey! For those of you who are new to the page, I have 3 babies who all have different personalities. That means I have one child who needs just a little bit of guidance, my middle baby needs a lot of attention and active participation and guidance and the baby just runs wild and gets into everything. So needless to say, ya girl is going cray cray! Before quarantine started, I had started looking for work again. Clearly that is nearly impossible to do since I do not have child care and my husband has been gone to training since January. Has anyone found some other solutions to work or child care, especially if you do not have family in the area? I have even looked at work-from-home jobs and then I had to come to my senses because there was not way Id be able to get any work done with three small, very active and loud children. With that being said what are some things you have done to keep your kids entertained? In the beginning of quarantine, the kids were on a schedule for homeschool. Then after about 2 months, I had to give myself a summer break! Haha! We have been doing a lot of outdoor play, bike riding, and of course on super hot day, sprinkler fun. I'm not the best at planning activities for the kids so we have only done two arts and crafts projects with construction paper. Shamefully, I admit now that the iPad has been my sole source of absolute quiet time. I only hate the iPad because when I take them away they cry. I do not want my kids crying over damn electronics! It drives me absolutely CRAZY! So, if you have any other activities and or ideas to share please do so in this post. I am sure we could all benefit from some new ideas! Stay strong momma's, WE GOT THIS!
